RENO, Nev. — Renown Health is teaming up with the City of Reno and the City of Sparks to offer free swimming for children.

Focused on keeping local children active and healthy this summer, Renown Health is sponsoring the free swimming.

The free swimming will start from now and until the end of July 2018.

“We want to make our community healthier, but we can’t do it alone. This is a great example of how our community is coming together to inspire better health,” said Wendy Damonte, vice president of Advocacy and Community Partnership at Renown Health. “Thanks to this partnership with the City of Reno and City of Sparks Parks and Recreation Departments, more than 2,500 children in the Truckee Meadows will have access to free swimming over the next few weeks.”
